Community Resource & Referral Services grew from countless conversations with neighbors who said, "I know there must be help out there, but I do not know who to call." Between housing agencies, job programs, clinics, and nonprofits, the maze can feel impossible to navigate when you are already tired and stressed. Our role is to stand in that gap as a guide.

When you reach out, we start with listening. What is happening right now? Is it employment, food, housing, health, school issues, or a mix of everything? Once we understand your story, we connect you with specific organizations, programs, and people-not just a list of phone numbers. We explain what each resource offers, what to expect when you contact them, and, when possible, we help you prepare questions or documents so you do not feel alone in the process.

Over the years, we have built relationships with partners across education, workforce development, financial assistance, health care, and family support. That means we can often spot connections you might not see, such as a job program that also offers transportation help, or a clinic that includes mental health services.

Sometimes we meet residents at our larger community events and resource expos. Other times, the connection begins with a phone call, a church partner, or a quick conversation after a workshop. However you come to us, the goal is the same: to move you from confusion to clarity and from guessing to guided steps.

We know it can be hard to ask for help. But help is easier to accept when someone treats you with respect, takes time to explain your options, and reminds you that needing support does not mean you are weak. Through Community Resource & Referral Services, we offer that steady hand, helping you find the right doors-and the courage to walk through them.
